Gabriel turns 1, twice

Gabriel turned one on November 23. This time last year, he and I were both in critical condition. It was a sobering Thanksgiving holiday and a Christmas season laden with healing, stabilizing bodies. I am truly grateful to be on the other side. It seems, already, to be so distant.

The Eye

We studied a unit on the Eye earlier in the season. I think of all our activities, this was the most “impacting”, hee hee. We began by learning the parts of the eye, doing some experiments and then our BIG BANG was getting together with friends for an actual cow eye dissection.
